China's economy to hit its lowest growth in more in five years


(MENAFN) China's economy recorded its lowest growth in more than five years in the third quarter of 2014, local media reported, according to Saudi Gazette.

The country's investors feeling bad, as they anticipate the release of economic data, which shows that the world's second-largest economy grows at its weakest pace in more than five years.

The chief China economist with UBS, expected China's GDP to grow for the third quarter to 7.1 percent, from 7.5 percent in the second quarter and 7.4 percent in the first quarter.

It may be the lowest pace of growth since the first quarter of 2009, when the global financial crisis crisis brought growth down to 6.6 percent.
