1 million trees drive takes off in Barsha


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The initiative revamps the states efforts in protecting the environment.

The team behind the initiative of planting one million trees in Dubai launched by Lt-General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim Deputy Chairman of the Dubai Police and General Security has planted a number of Ghaf trees at Barsha police station.



Col Abdullah Khadem bin Surur Al Ma’sam Director of the station stressed the importance of participation in the initiative to back the efforts of the Dubai Police to extend the green belt in the emirate spread culture of afforestation and protect the environment.



Lieutenant Fahd Jassim Al Ghas Director of Office of Assistant General Commander of Dubai Police for Academic Affairs and Training noted that the initiative revamps the state’s efforts in protecting the environment.
