It is announced that Can Cool will be releasing his two new singles in November which will be available on Amazon and iTunes. The two singles are entitled Take It Slow (an R&B song) and I’m Bad (a rap song). This 14 year old music artist is dubbed as the “next big thing” on the entertainment and music scene due to his capabilities as recognized in his hit singles.
Can Cool (also known as Lil’ Derrick) is a born performer and entertainer even at a young age of 14. He went to Brown Middle School and received training at Chattanooga High School Center for Creative Arts in which he learned acting and voice lessons. Can Cool was born in Chattanooga Tennessee on March 27 2000.
His uncanny gift was discovered at a young age when his father overheard him rapping in his bedroom flawlessly in which he was singing along You Don’t Know Me a hit single of T.I. The very first recording of Can Cool was entitled Meet Me at the Playground which was a blockbuster hit in Tennessee. The song immediately moved into a regular rotation in Power 94.3 FM the radio station in Chattanooga. Eventually it was retired from the radio station’s rotation after spending more than 4 months as the leading requested song. This young music artist has already performed in over 200 shows – from jam-packed arenas to birthday parties. In addition Can Cool has won numerous competitions such as the grabbing 1st places in the Chattanooga Rising Star S.C.O.R.E competition in Atlanta and C.C.A. Idol. He was also 2nd placer in the Swag Fest contest.
A judge that allowed Usher to win the Solid Gold talent competition more than 2 decades ago was among the C.C.A. Idol’s judges. The judge claimed that he has been a judge of a variety of contests throughout the past years and he has only seen a couple of artists with a star level potential and presence – Can Cool and Usher.
A quadruple threat Can Cool sings dances acts and raps and is presently self-producing his next hit single. He independently sold over 10000 copies of Meal Ticket his first CD in 2008 at only 8 years old.
