ENOC, Emirates Transport Co sign USD13.61 contract

UAE-based Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) announced it has awarded a five-year, USD13.61 million, to Emirates Transport Company, the government-owned company for providing transportation services to its staff, Gulf Business reported

Emirates Transport, which has been meeting the staff transportation needs of ENOC's group of companies including its retail network arm for the last seven years, currently offers a daily fleet of 80 vehicles, which undertake about 500 services daily to commute over 4.000 employees of ENOC across its different businesses.

Emirates Transport on average goes on over 175.000 trips to meet the requirements of ENOC's various business units, which function throughout the year without breaks.

"Extending our partnership with Emirates Transport underlines our commitment to maintain and strengthen our relations with our long-term partners. "It can be further strengthened by supporting each other in areas of mutual interest and business diversification," CEO of ENOC said.
