Coalition warplanes strike ISIL militants in Kobane


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Warplanes belonging to an International coalition, including several Arab countries, launched three air strikes on areas run by ISIL militants, south of Ain Al-Arab, or Kobane, according to a monitoring group.

The size of causalities has not so far been mentioned, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said on Tuesday.

There are fierce clashes by mortars between Kurdish fighters and ISIL militants in Kobane, SOHR said.

Syrian opposition forces are battling with regime's forces and militants loyal to it, leaving a child dead and several others injured in an Aleppo's village, the observatory added.

Islamic fighters hit sites of the regime's forces by mortars in an area south of Aleppo.

Syrian opposition said that its forces on Tuesday launched a regime's building in which its forces were hiding in Daraa, leaving scores soldiers dead and three others captured, noted the SOHR.

Syrian warplanes launched violent assault on Al-Lataminah city, Hama Governorate, north of Syria, targeting civilians by more than 20 raids since Tuesday morning, according to the observatory.

Early in the day, three people from Assad's forces and one of opposition forces were killed in violent clashes between the two sides in two areas run by the Syrian regime.

Meanwhile, coalition warplanes carried out late Monday an air strike against ISIL militants near Kharata oil field, south east of Deir Ezzor in Syria.
