Kerry, Lavrov to Meet Next Week in Paris
(MENAFN- QNA) US Secretary of State John Kerry will meet Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Paris as early as next week.
"Yes, they will hold a meeting, most likely next week in Paris," a diplomatic source told Russian RIA Novosti on Tuesday.
US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland said earlier on Tuesday that the American side was expecting Kerry-Lavrov meeting "in near future." On October 3, Kerry and Lavrov discussed the situation in Ukraine in a phone conversation.
In their previous bilateral meeting, held on September 24 in New York, John Kerry and Sergei Lavrov discussed Ukraine and the importance of "full and prompt" implementation of all the aspects of the Minsk ceasefire agreement.
