Israeli Occupation Boats, Helicopters Attack Gaza Fishermen


(MENAFN- QNA) Israeli helicopter gunships and gunboats today opened fire at the two fishing boats off the coast of Al-Waha in north-west Gaza Strip.

Local Palestinian sources said that Israeli helicopter gunships fired at the two boats from a very close range while gunboats opened fire in the direction of the fishing boats without causing casualties.

The sources pointed out that the two boats immediately retreat to a less dangerous areas within the limited space available to them.

Meanwhile Israeli gunboats continued to fire in the direction of the two boats until they reached the coast.

The incident is considered a serious breach of the truce because this is the first time that the occupation forces used helicopters to target fishermen in tenth violation of the agreement reached in Cairo more than a month ago.
