8 held for theft of goods worth Dh1 million in Dubai


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The Dubai Police arrested eight members of a gang for allegedly stealing electronic goods worth Dh1 million from a warehouse in the emirate.

Major-General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police for Criminal Investigation said a businessman informed the police that thieves made away with goods from his warehouse in Jebel Ali.



The police zeroed in on 10 suspects including the owner of a company who arranged the documents for shipping the stolen items to an Asian country. The police coordinated with the police force of the Asian country and arranged for the return of the stolen goods.



The police have set in motion the procedure for extraditing two other suspects in connection with the case. — amirakhaleejtimes.com
