Qatar- Inadequate 'temperature controls main cause of food poisoning'


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Boecker, the largest public healthy company in the Middle East, brought extensive attention to the importance of temperature control during the Food Chain conference at the Hilton Doha.

Produced by CPI industry, and having Boecker as an associate sponsor, the conference focused on putting forth the subject of the cold chain infrastructure, and its impact on health and well-being in line with Qatar's National Vision 2030.

The forum was attended by local and regional authorities and food safety, health and hygiene experts.

Other causes that also need more awareness are improper storage, cooking and holding of food. It is the job of food handlers to continuously upgrade and monitor temperatures from the receiving of raw materials to the delivery of end products."
