Saudi oil exports hit USD221.1b in 9 months


(MENAFN) Local media reported that Saudi Arabia's oil exports reached 2.06 billion barrels in the first nine months of 2014 with proceeds amounting to USD221.2 billion, Arab News reported.

Domestic consumption during the January-September period of 2014 reached nearly 621.5 million barrels, accounting for 23 percent of the total output, Al-Riyadh daily reported.

A top Saudi Aramco official said that his company is planning to invest USD40 billion in the next decade to keep stability of oil production and double gas production, the daily said.
