Iceland logs trade surplus decline in September


(MENAFN) According to Statistics Iceland, the country registered a dip in its trade surplus of USD45.3 million in September from a surplus of USD55.4 million in August, Xinhua reported.

Preliminary figures showed the value of exported goods totaled USD449.9 million, while the value of imported goods amounted to USD404.6 million in September, a press release said.

Both of the figures increased USD30.2 million and USD40.3 million, respectively when compared with the month of August, Statistics Iceland figures showed.
