(MENAFN- QNA) The United Nations has extended its thanks to HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and the State of Qatar for their generous contribution to facilitate a payment before the end of the month for a number of civil service employees in Gaza. This came after an agreement with Palestinian reconciliation government and in coordination with the United Nations.
This was announced by Spokesman for Secretary-General Stephane Dujarric in a press conference held here today.
Dujarric added: "We count on the support of all concerned in facilitating this payment, which we hope will contribute to stability in Gaza and the Government of Palestine's efforts to reintegrate government institutions and the civil service."
