Pakistani fighter aircraft crashes near Quetta


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) A fighter aircraft of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) crashed due to technical fault during a routine operational training mission near Quetta yesterday, Pakistan's (Geo) News reported.

According to the (PAF) spokesperson, the pilot of the aircraft executed successful planned ejection and remained safe in the accident.

Fortunately, no loss of life and damage to property on ground was reported as crash occurred in the barren area.

A board of inquiry has been ordered by Air headquarters to determine the cause of accident.

The Pakistan Air Force is the aerial warfare branch of the Pakistan Armed Forces, primarily tasked with the aerial defence of Pakistan.
