Qatar- AAB to sponsor tenth Milipol Qatar exhibition


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Abdullah Abdulghani and Bros Company (AAB) will be the official sponsor of this year's Milipol Qatar exhibition to be held from October 20 to 22 at the Doha Exhibition Center that will feature state-of-the-art products in Internal State Security. The 10th staging of the biennial event is being held under the patronage of the Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

The announcement came in a joint press conference in which the company's management signed an agreement with the Qatar Milipol committee for sponsoring the event.

As part of the agreement Abdullah Abdulghani and bros, the sole agents for Toyota and Lexus vehicles in Qatar, was awarded the honour to be the officials sponsor with Toyota and Lexus cars designated as the official cars for the event.

"We, at AAB are extremely privileged and honored to sponsor, in a significant manner all the Milipol Qatar events since 1996," said Abdulghani Abdullah Abdulghani a board member of AAB.

The event will also coincide with AAB's celebrating its 50th anniversary of partnership with Toyota Motor Corporation this year. AAB will be having a booth at the event measuring 302m2 where they will also be displaying their vehicles which are currently used by various ministries. They will also be providing a fleet of Toyota and Lexus vehicles for the transportation of officials at the event.

According to Brigadier Sheikh Nasser bin Fahad Al Thani, President of Milipol Qatar 2014 Committee, the specific needs and requirements of internal state security in Qatar will be addressed at Milipol Qatar 2014 as participants and exhibitors from local and international solutions providers are expected to highlight the latest technological advancements both in terms of products and services.

"Through an important platform as Milipol Qatar, professionals from Qatar and the region will be able to access the latest solutions and technologies to face with any kind of risk," he said.

Among the categories that will be featured include state-of-the-art products and services in transmissions, communications and tracking; authentication, access control and surveillance systems; corporate and media; and information technology.

Also the exhibition will have a focus on products and services that effectively respond to current market trends, the exhibition will also feature optics and op-tronics equipment; consultancy, training and related services; mobility; personnel equipment and fabrics; major risks, crisis management and civil emergencies; specific transverse technologies; body inspection systems; fast-scan vehicle inspection systems; law enforcement cameras; and unmanned aerial vehicles.
