About the Author:
H. Edward Schmidt spent most of his working life with the Federal Government serving in the army in Europe the Peace Corps in Washington and Africa and with the Congressional Research Service. He now lives in Maryland with his wife Patricia. They have seven children and twenty grandchildren.
