Flydubai launches new routes to Entebbe, Bujumbura


(MENAFN) Dubai-based flydubai's announced it has launched a new service to Entebbe and Bujumbura, with daily direct flights to Entebbe, and three flights a week to Bujumbura, thus doubling the carrier's presence in Africa to 12 destinations, Gulf News reported.

The carrier said that it will be offering economy and business classes as well as cargo services to Entebbe, one of Africa's leading commercial centers, thus facilitating the flow of tourism and business between Uganda and the UAE.

Meanwhile, the airline believes that the rich biodiversity of Burundi will attract tourists from around the carrier's network as well as offering a great opportunity for this country to strengthen its trade ties through Flydubai 80 destinations, which they offer.

With the lauch of these new services, Flydubai becomes the first national carrier from the UAE to fly to Burundi and Uganda, which is in line with its commitment to opening up underserved markets to the globe.
