(MENAFN- QNA) Arab League Secretary General, Nabil Elaraby met here today with Valerie Amos, UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator on the sidelines of the 69th regular session of the U.N. General Assembly.
Their talks during the meeting dealt with the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, Syria and Iraq, especially in light of Daash's presence in large areas of Syria and Iraq and its impact on aid delivery to refugees and displaced persons.
