Jordan king to visit Moscow Thursday


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Jordanian King Abdullah II will start a visit to Moscow on Thursday at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

During his stay here, the Jordanian king will hold talks with the Russian leader and other senior officials on the latest regional developments, mainly Syria and Libya, according to a statement released by the Russian Presidency's information office.

They will also discuss ways and means of promoting and developing Russian-Jordanian relations and joint ventures in the fields of energy, agriculture and infrastructure, it added.

The Jordanian king has visited Russia eight times over the last few years.
