Man Opens Fire Near Ethiopian Embassy in Washington
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Washington September 30 (QNA) - US intelligence services detained a gunman who opened fire near the Embassy of Ethiopia in Washington causing no injuries.
Spokeswoman for the US Department of State Jennifer Bsaki said Tuesday that the man was arrested on Monday during a protest in front of the Ethiopian embassy.
For his part a State Department official said that no one was injured in the incident adding that the person believed to have fired the shots turned himself in to authorities and no arrests were made because he has diplomatic immunity. (QNA)
