Qatar- Hassad Food for investments in Turkey


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Hassad Food, the global Qatari premier investor in the agriculture and livestock sectors announced that it had initiated an investment plan in Turkey.

Nasser Al Hajri, Chairman and Managing director of Hassad Food met with Turkey's Minister of Agriculture Mehdi Eker to initiate and

activate investment plan in the agribusiness sector which covers poultry, meat and dairy.

The collaboration between the two countries is as per the guidance of the Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and in line with the National Vision 2030, Hassad Food said yesterday.

Nasser Al Hajri said: "We want to get into partnership with the private sector and to invest in agricultural public domains. Products from these investments will be marketed commercially in the region including Qatar."
