(MENAFN- QNA) - The State of Kuwait reiterated here on Monday its commitment to working to reduce the impacts of the problem of refugees in Africa through its rotating presidency of the third session of the Arab-African Summit, Kuwaiti news agency ( KUNA ) reported today.

Addressing the UNHCR's 65th Executive Committee session, Kuwait's Permanent Representative at the UN Ambassador Jamal Al-Ghuneim said Kuwait would remain a staunch supporter of the African continent to face the problem of refugees by means of contributing to economic development in its countries.

The fact that Kuwait has close relations with its African friends necessitates collective work to maintain security and stability in Africa and to create sustainable development there, he said.
