Microsoft promises cooperation in China's antitrust probe


(MENAFN) According to the Chinese government, Microsoft Corp said it would cooperate with the Chinese authorities in their ongoing antitrust investigation, The Peninsula Qatar reported.

Microsoft has been targeted by an anti-monopoly investigation started by the China's State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC), which has already caught evidence from multiple Microsoft offices across China.

The US tech giant will turn over information requested by investigators, while the company is confident the government investigation will be fair and transparent, according to the SAIC website.
