
Oman- The Wave, Muscat names 2 to senior management
A seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in real estate development tourism oil and gas and banking Sheibani first joined The Wave Muscat in 2007 as senior finance manager before being promoted to vice president of finance in 2008. Within his new capacity Sheibani will lead the finance information technology and human resources functions. Sheibani is also on the boards of Oman Investment Finance Co and OITPF Wave Fund.
Prior to joining The Wave Muscat Sheibani worked for Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) in various finance-related roles including finance systems insurance and project accounting. Sheibani began his career in the treasury department at National Bank of Oman in 1998 after obtaining a bachelor's of finance from Sultan Qaboos University.
Russell-Rayner joins The Wave Muscat with over 30 years of international experience in project development and management gained in various positions across the GCC Europe Africa and Asia. A qualified mechanical engineer; he previously held directorial and vice presidential positions and has a proven track record of increasing the value and turnover of commercial and residential developments.
