Qatari Horse Riders Win Gold of Team Jumping Competition in Incheon


(MENAFN- QNA) Qatari horse riders won gold of team Jumping Competition within the equestrian sport on Sunday in 2014 Asian Games in South Korea's Incheon, while Saudi Arabia won the silver and Japan the bronze.

Qatari horse riders including Nasser Al Ghazal, Ali Khaled Al-Thani, Khalid Al Emadi and Basem Mohammed did not make any mistake and managed to reap the full mark, advancing the Saudis Faisal Al Shaalan, Abdul Rahman Al Rajhi, Salman Almaqadi and Abdullah Al Sharbatli (tallied 12 points).

Saudi Arabia won silver by preference on Japan, which won the same number of points.

The Emiratis Abdullah Al Marri, Mohammed Al Owais, Meftah Al Dhahri and Latifa Al Maktoum were close to win the bronze, but Al Marri who made a mistake in the fourth round cost them 4 points which make them back to fourth place.
