Imran hopes to attract large crowd in Lahore

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Elated by tremendous success of Karachis public rally last week Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan goes to Lahore on Sunday for what he hopes to be the biggest ever meeting in history of the city.

The Lahore rally may also mark a slight shift in the ‘dharna’ (sit-in) politics which set a new record on Friday by completing 44 days in the federal capital. Party vice-chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi said in Karachi that Imran’s ‘dharna’ container will travel to Lahore and then move on to other cites in Punjab Sindh and Balochistan though the Islamabad sit-in will also continue.
