Tokyo Seoul Agree to Continue Dialogue


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) New York September 27 (QNA) - Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida and his South Korean counterpart Yun Byung-se have agreed to continue dialogue at the highest levels in a bid to mend bilateral ties.

The two ministers met held a forty-minute meeting on the sideline of the 69th UN general assembly.

Though unable to reach an agreement to hold a summit between Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and South Korean President Park Geun-hye they reaffirmed the importance of continuing and deepening high-level talks. (QNA)
