(MENAFN- QNA) Coach of German national football team Joachim Loew will rest some of his World Cup winning starts during the team's friendly with Spain.
Loew said he will rest players from Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund as well as Arsenal's Mesut Ozil and Real Madrid's Toni Kroos.
Loew's statement followed criticism from Bayern coach Pep Guardiola and his counterpart in Dortmund Jurgen Klopp that the match calendar will exhaust players.
The World Cup winners Germany found it difficult to beat Scotland 2-1 in their first match of the qualifier earlier this month.
