Gulf Petrochem takes acquisition of plant in India
(MENAFN) Gulf Petrochem, the UAE-based company, announced its acquisition of the Royal Dutch Shell Specialties Bitumen plant at India,
Gulf News reported.
Through this acquisition, the company will be able to construct a new high capacity storage terminal for various petroleum products and meet the increasing demand for various petroleum products.
Gulf Petrochem said that this acquisition will help in increasing their product portfolio with petroleum products which can be marketed and delivered through the company's storage, shipping, manufacturing and terminal businesses.
"It mirrors our growth strategy because we have enhanced our integration solution in India and consolidated our position as the only company in the region that is actively present in both conventional bitumen and specialty products." Gulf Petrochem's Group Director said.
