Turkey to expand trade with Sharjah


(MENAFN) A delegation of Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MUSIAD) from Turkey held a meeting with the director of Hamiryah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) and Sharjah Airport Free Zone (SAIF Zone), at the HFZA headquarters, Arab News reported.

The delegation comprised Serdar F Kumbaraci, commercial attach" of consulate general of the Republic of Turkey in Dubai; Alı Avci, assistant commercial attache of consulate general of the Republic of Turkey in Dubai and Gazi Misirli, presidential representative of MUSIAD.

Saud Salim Al-Mazrouei, Ali Al Jarwan, sales and marketing manager and Abdul Aziz Dawood, senior sales executive of HFZA, received the delegation.

Al-Mazrouei, who discussed the bilateral trade cooperation between HFZA and Turkish companies, also invited MUSIAD, which contributes 15 percent to Turkey's GDP, to utilize the logistic advantages of the free zones and expand to the region.
