(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Mexican Foreign Minister Jose Antonio Maade Kuribrena said Sunday he was looking forward for boosting economic relations with Kuwait.
"We have a lot of interest that through the enhanced political dialogue to provide better economic opportunity for the Mexican business sector," namely in the field of agriculture and energy, Kuribrena told KUNA after a meeting with First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Hamad Al-Khaled Al-Sabah.
He said his government was preparing for a possible visit by the Mexican president to Kuwait to work on a much closer relationship.
"We have a lot of interest from the business community" to establish businesses in Kuwait and the two countries could explore many areas of cooperation, he added.
He said he and Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled discussed a challenges facing the two countries.
