Egyptian military plane crashes, killing six personnel


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) An Egyptian military aircraft crashed in Fayoum governorate, south of Cairo, killing six personnel and injuring another, the army announced on Sunday.

The accident was due to a sudden technical error in the military transport plane during a training exercise, the Army Spokesman Brigadier General Mohamed Samir said on his official Facebook account.

Defense Minister and army commander-in-chief Sedki Sobhi has ordered the formation of a panel to investigate the incident.
