EU condemns Cairo bombing
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The EU expressed "great concern " by the deadly bomb blast that hit near the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Cairo on Sunday.
"Our thoughts are with the victims of this heinous act, and their families," said Michael Mann, spokesman for EU High Representative Catherine Ashton, in a statement.
"We reiterate the EU's condemnation of terrorism in all its forms," he added.
At least two policemen, including an officer, were reportedly killed and several conscripts and passersby were seriously injured in the bomb attack.
