Qatar- QC, Silatech to help young entrepreneurs

(MENAFN- The Peninsula)  Qatar Charity and Silatech signed yesterday an agreement to support young Arab entrepreneurs, based on a memorandum of understanding signed in 2013 to strengthen cooperation in fund-raising campaigns, technology and technical assistance fields.

The agreement was signed by Qatar Charity CEO Yousef bin Ahmad Al Kuwari and Silatech CEO Tarik Mohamed Yousef.

Under the agreement, Qatar Charity is to finance projects worth QR 1,000,852 in six Arab countries, including Palestine.

The two entities will work together to support Arab young entrepreneurs through Silatech "Narwi" micro-giving platform.

Speaking at the signing ceremony of the agreement, Al Kuwari said the move reflects the true partnership between Qatar Charity and Silatech to help the unemployed youth in the Arab region by creating development projects to curb poverty in the target countries.

For his part, Silatech CEO praised the existing cooperation between the two entities, hoping for further cooperation to implement additional projects in this framework
