(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The five-day roadshow conducted by Jafza concluded with a resounding success recently, with an overwhelming number of firms keen to learn about Dubai's key position as a gateway to the Middle East, and Jafza's role in facilitating the global reach of companies based there.

The delegation was accorded a VIP welcome from the government of Shandong, where Shandong Vice-Governor Xia Geng held talks with Abdulla Al Saleh, Undersecretary of the UAE Ministry of Economy, and Ibrahim Mohamed Aljanahi, deputy chief executive officer of Jafza and chief commercial officer of Economic Zones World.

Jafza closely coordinated with Falcon & Associates who provided support for the roadshow by organising the seminar in Shandong, as well as meetings with high-level government entities. Falcon's efforts also helped strengthen the UAE entourage with high-level delegates.

The UAE and Jafza delegation included Adil Al Zarooni, senior vice-president of Jafza Sales; Khalid Al Marzooqi, senior manager; and Jeffrey Xiaolei Yu, sales executive for the Asia-Pacific region, as well as Hongbin Cong, managing director of Invest Dubai, Falcon & Associates; and Fahad Al Thani, investment support manager of the Foreign Investment Office Dubai.

Talks between the Xia, Al Saleh and Aljanahi focused on mutual cooperation and the strengthening of relations and exchange of trade delegations and regular contact to promote business between Shandong, the UAE and Jafza.

Aljanahi said: "China is an important trade partner for the UAE. Our trade and diplomatic ties are stronger than ever."
