(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) New York September 20 (QNA) - United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has met with European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton according to an UN press statement. During their meeting the two officials discussed the situation in Syria Iraq and Gaza and efforts to resume the Middle East peace process. They also discussed the situation in Afghanistan Ukraine and South Sudan the statement added. (QNA)
