Libyan Religious Official Killed in Benghazi


(MENAFN- QNA) The body of Sheikh Nabil Sati was brought to Al-Hawri Hospital in the Libyan city of Benghazi, the Hospital's information officer Hani Al Eraibi has confirmed.

Libyan News Agency (LANA) quoted paramedics as saying Sheikh Sati was attacked by unidentified assailant while walking out of Qais bin Amr mosque at Sidi Younis neighbourhood after Ishaa prayer last night.

LANA added that Sheikh was in charge of religious guidance at the Awkaf office in Benghazi and was known for his remarkable da'wa activities at A-Tahrir Squire during the February 17 revolution.
