Emirates Airlines to launch another route to Tehran

(MENAFN) Emirates announced it is planning to operate a one off A380 flight into Tehran starting September 30, Gulf Business reported.

The company said that once it is satisfied it can turn the route into an operational and commercial success, the one-offs will be turned into regular scheduled services.

Airlines are looking to capitalize on Iran's economic potential, with Emirates currently serving Tehran with a mix of B777-300s and A330-200s, while low-cost carrier Flydubai has started four-times a week services to Tehran in August.
