(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) His Highness the Prime Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah arrived here on Wednesday to represent His Highness the Amir at Daimler AG's Ruby anniversary.
According to a press statement, His Highness Sheikh Jaber expressed delight at the exceptional level bilateral economic relations have reached with Germany.
Investments made by Kuwait's sovereign fund Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA), he said, have tripled over the last 10 years, reaching around EUR 14 billion.
"KIA has solid relations with the German auto-maker extending to over 40 years in addition to links with many banks and companies in the nation, which benefits from having the largest economy in Europe," he added.
"This, along with the growing surge of Kuwaiti privately-owned investments, has greatly contributed to boosting relations," he emphasised.
Sheikh Jaber will attend the ceremony marking 40 years of the founding of the German auto-maker tomorrow, Thursday.
Receiving the Kuwaiti premier at Stuttgart Airport was Kuwaiti Ambassador Monther Al-Issa and embassy staff.
