State of Riverside County Featuring 3rd District Supervisor Jeff Stone Set for Sept. 24 at Pechanga

TEMECULA: The State of Riverside County annual event will take place Wednesday Sept. 24 and will feature County of Riverside 3rd District Supervisor Jeff Stone. The event will highlight the burgeoning tourism industry in Riverside County with a top-notch panel of tourism and hospitality professionals.

3rd District Supervisor and Chairman of the Riverside County Board of Supervisors Jeff Stone will be the keynote speaker for the evening at the Pechanga Resort and Casino at 45000 Pechanga Parkway.

“Every year the County of Riverside highlights its annual affairs with the Signature State of Riverside County event. It is very exciting to be part of this evening and speak on behalf of our County’s successes” said Supervisor Jeff Stone. “We have taken a new and different approach to this year’s event and are pleased to share with you the state of Riverside County.”

The festivities kick-off with a tourism panel at 4pm moderated by Brian Tucker Industry Relations Liaison for Visit California. Panelists are comprised of tourism and hospitality professionals  showcasing Scott White President & CEO of Greater Palm Springs Convention and Visitors Bureau  Ted Weggeland President & CEO of Raincross Hospitality Corporation Kimberly Adams President & CEO of Temecula Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau  Peggy Evans Executive Director of Temecula Valley Winegrowers Association Raj Narayanan General Manager of Lake Elsinore Storm and Dottie Montana General Manager of Desert Hills Premium Outlets.  

Immediately following the panel discussion at 5pm will be an intermission including light refreshments and wine tasting by local Temecula favorites such as Miramonte Winery Wilson Creek Winery and Vineyards Wiens Family Cellars Callaway Vineyard and Winery and Maurice Car’rie Winery.

Supervisor Stone presenting speaker for this year’s event entitled “Uncorked” will illustrate progress and innovation throughout the county over the past year. In addition other topics will be highlighted on video by each of the 5 County Board Supervisors and cover topics such as tourism streamlining businesses the County healthcare system education economic development and quality of life.

Closing out the evening with command and style will be a high traffic networking event featuring local vendors wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres. You will not want to miss this unique opportunity to meet influential leaders community members and business partners within Riverside County. Tickets are still available for $50 pre-sale and $65 at the door. Groups of 10 receive a discounted rate of $450. Business exhibit spaces are available for $100. Exhibit space is limited and on a first-come first-served basis.
