The trading value declined to QR 470.922 million today from QR 866.480 million on Tuesday.
The trading volume dropped to 9,758,241 shares from 5,605 transactions compared to 19,593,047 shares from 8,412 transactions on Tuesday.
The market capitalization increased to QR 752.205 billion from Tuesday's QR 749.349 billion.
Banks and finance sector index gained +0.59%, telecoms +0.40%, industries +0.30% while real estate index dropped -0.94%, transport -0.40%, consumer goods -0.25% and insurance -0.11%.
From the 43 listed companies, 18 gained today, 21 declined and six remained unchanged.
Qatar National Bank (QNB) share gained QR 3.30 when it closed trading at QR 208.40 (+1.61%) while Islamic Holding gained QR 2.80 at close, up 2.45% to QR 117.
Qatar Cinema and Films Distribution Company share plummeted QR 3.45 (-7.15%) when it closed at QR 44.80.
