(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY Sept 16 (KUNA): President of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) and Chief of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah met with Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev in the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek on Monday. The meeting discussed a number of common topics in the sports field. President Atambayev invited Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad to attend local games due in his country OCA Director General Husain Al- Musallam told KUNA in a phone call. He added that Sheikh Ahmed Al- Fahad discussed with President Atambayev ways to strengthen mutual cooperation in sports between the OCA and ANOC to support the games to be organized every two years. Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad will be heading tomorrow to Inchon city in South Korea to open the 17th Incheon Asian Games 2014 to be held between Sept 19 and October. Meanwhile a senior official in Kuwait's national shooting team currently taking part at the ISSF World Championships for shooting in Granada Spain criticized level of organization for men's double trap competitions. 'Holding men's double trap contests simultaneously with women's skeet trainings have reflected negatively on shooters' results' Mohammad Al-Daihani Kuwait's team's manager told KUNA. Flying discs of women's skeet training would pass by men's double trap fields causing a major distraction to shooters' concentration while aiming at targets Al-Daihani said noting that distraction has also caused two-time Olympic medalist Fehaid Al-Deehani to lose his concentration affecting his results negatively during the competition. However Kuwaiti shooters came out with good results in first and second rounds of the championship the Kuwaiti official noted adding that combining men's double trap contest with women's skeet training have prevented (them) from attaining advanced places in the rest of the rounds. Italy won the first place by hitting a total of 424 discs while US came second by 418. Kuwait hit a total of 401 discs by shooters Al-Daihani Ahmad Al-Afasi and Hamad Al- Afasi.
