Qatar Exchange Index Maintains Status Quo
(MENAFN- QNA) Qatar Exchange index maintained status quo Tuesday when trading closed fractionally higher by 0.67 point compared to Monday's position of 14,137.33 points.
The trading value increased to QR 866.480 Million from Monday's QR 486.347 Million.
The trading volume increased to 19,593,047 shares from 8,412 transactions compared to 10,897,795 shares from 6,048 transactions on Monday.
The market capitalization dropped to QR 749.349 Billion from Monday's QR 751.417 Billion.
Telecom sector gained +0.51%, insurance +0.46%, consumer goods +0.29%, industries +0.24% while banks and finance index dropped -0.42% and transport dropped -0.14%.
From the 43 listed companies, 23 gained today, 15 declined and three remained unchanged.
