(MENAFN- QNA) Germany has pledged 193 million euros to Jordan in financial assistance and technical cooperation in areas of water, sanitation, solid waste management and renewable energy.
This came during meetings held between a Jordanian government delegation comprising senior officials and German officials.
The Jordanian team highlighted burdens borne by Jordan as a result of hosting a massive number of Syrian refugees on its territory, according to (Petra) news agency.
The German side pledged to continue supporting and extending assistance to the Kingdom.
