(MENAFN- QNA) Explosion in BaghlanAt least one person was killed and seven others were injured following an explosion in northern Baghlan province of Afghanistan.
Afghan Khaama Press (KP) quoted local government officials as saying the incident took place on Monday in Baghlan-e-Markazi district.
District administrative chief, Gawhar Khan Babari said an Afghan police service member was martyred and seven civilians were injured following the blast.
In the meantime, officials in provincial hospital are saying that nine people were injured following the explosion and two of them are in critical health codition.
No group including the Taliban militants has so far claimed responsibility behind the incident.
