(MENAFN- QNA) the International Conference on the Peace and Security of Iraq opened here under the co-chairmanship of French President Francois Hollande and Iraqi Prime Minister Fuad Masum.
Foreign ministers and representatives of around 24 countries are taking part in the conference , in addition to Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Elaraby, UN Special Representative for Iraq Nickolay Mladenov and Executive Secretary-General of the European External Action Service Pierre Vimont.
The conference aims to form an international coalition to confront Daash and to organize assistance and efforts to ensure Iraq's territorial integrity.
