Oman- Strike by Air France pilots not to affect travellers from sultanate

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The cancellation of Air France-KLM flights on Monday is not likely to affect passengers flying from Oman sources have said. The French arm of Air France-KLM Group Europe's biggest airline may cancel 52 per cent of its services as pilots protest a management plan to expand low-cost operations.

Sudeep Joseph travel manager Travel City said 'The strike shouldn't directly affect travellers from Oman or our businesses as Air France doesn't have scheduled flights to or from Muscat.

And since Air France and KLM have a codeshare agreement passengers should be able to get their tickets re-issued. For example a Muscat-Dubai-Paris Air France ticket can be changed to a Muscat-Dubai-Amsterdam-Paris ticket.'
