(MENAFN- Arab Times) Courts in the country have handled several cases of stealing money, gold and other items but it is the first time to deal with a case in which an entire house was stolen by changing the keys and re-furnishing to be rented out to others.

Attorney Horaa Al-Habib, who filed a petition at the Public Prosecution, disclosed her client left the house for six months as she was waiting to settle refurbishment issues and she resided with her father. However, when she visited the house, she was surprised to find a family residing there.

She was informed the family signed the rent contract with a Kuwaiti. Al-Habib disclosed it became clear later that the citizen took advantage of the absence of the owner and rented out the house. He also changed the keys and furniture while he received rent for four months. She added the accused has been involved in several crimes such as forgery and burglary.
