Qatar's real estate up 91.4 percent in August


(MENAFN) Qatar's real estate sector registered a huge growth in August, with the combined value of transactions reaching USD 507.13 million, up by 91.4 percent compared to USD 266.91 million in July, The Peninsula Qatar reported.

According to the Real Estate Registration Department, that the value of the transactions of the first week of August, from 5 to 7, reached USD45.40 million, with an average of USD15.13 million daily.

While USD201.99 million in transactions was achieved in the second week from August 10 to 14, a record increase of 345 percent, and recorded USD40.41 million daily transaction average.

As for the third week transactions reached USD126.24 million with USD25.24 million daily average, while the fourth and last week of August from 24 to 28 had a slight 9 percent rise in transactions with a value of USD137.21 million, while the daily average registered USD27.34 million.
