OIC chief, Danish FM tackle terrorism, extremism


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Iyad bin Amin Madani on Sunday held talks with Danish Foreign Minister Martin Lidegaard on the current situation in the Middle East, tackling terrorism and extremism.
They conversed on regional and international developments as well as dialogue among cultures and religions, said an OIC statement.
The meeting also dealt with bilateral relations between OIC and Denmark and various topics of mutual interest, in addition to the need to strengthen mutual cooperation in order to promote economic and social development in Islamic countries, it added.
