- HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met here today at his Emiri Diwan Office with Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam and his accompanying delegation on the occasion of their visit to Qatar.
The Lebanese Prime Minister expressed thanks and appreciation to HH the Emir, the government and people of Qatar for their positions supportive to Lebanon during the current stage. Meanwhile Salam valued Qatar's continued efforts to secure the release of prisoners and detainees.
- HH the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani held today a session of talks with Lebanese Prime Minster Tammam Salam.
During the session they reviewed relations between the two countries and means of developing them. They also discussed a number of regional and international matters of mutual concern as well as the latest developments in the region.
- HE the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr. Hamad bin Abdul Aziz Al-Kuwari met today with Lebanese Minister or Culture Raymond Araiji.
Talks during the meeting dealt with relations between the two countries in addition to area of joint cultural cooperation and means of bolstering them to realize the interests of both countries
- HE the Minister of Environment Ahmad bin Amer Al-Hemaidi met here on Sunday with the Sudanese minister of agriculture and irrigation Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamid and his accompanying delegation, currently visiting Doha.
The meeting focused on aspects of cooperation between Qatar and Sudan in the field of agriculture
- HE the Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Thani described Qatari -Sri Lankan ties as deep-rooted relations, thanks to the wise leaderships in the two countries and their keenness to expand the prospects of joint cooperation in economy, trade and investment and at all levels.
- German Minister of Economic Cooperation and Development Dr. Gerd Muller met Tuesday with HE Qatari Ambassador to Germany Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al khulaifi.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and means to enhance them
- Prime Minister of the Lebanese Republic Tammam Salam arrived in Doha Sunday morning.
The Lebanese Prime Minister and his accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival by HE Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari, HE Qatar's Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Hamad Al Marri and HE Lebanese Ambassador to Qatar Hassan Qassem Najem(MORE)
